Radiology Department
The imaging department is staffed by experienced professionals
and is well equipped with Digital Fluroscopy and Ultrasound. The
range of services on offer includes:-
Ultrasound scanning:-
Early pregnancy (6-12 weeks), Nuchal fold (11-14 weeks), Anomaly
scan (20-22 weeks), Baby sexing scan (24 weeks),
Aortic Aneurism. Doppler (Vascular), Abdominal , Renal and
Pelvic.
Digital Fluroscopy/Contrast studies:-
For all barium studies, Hysterosalpingograms, Herniograms,
Intravenous Urograms (IVU), Plain films, Musculo skeletal.
For plain films, appointments can be offered as early as the day
of referral, For other procedures, depending on the preparation and
speciality, an appointment will offered within the next 5 days.
GP's can now refer directly for MRI, CT (both of which will be
carried out at our sister hospital in Ashtead), and Ultrasound.
Appointments are normally offered within 2-4 days and reported back
to the GP within 48 hours.
