Dr Kofi Nimake is a Consultant Respiratory Physician in Caterham, Surrey who specialises in lung cancer and asthma.
Dr Nimako is a Consultant Respiratory physician with a particular interest in lung cancer,asthma and chronic cough. Dr Nimako gained a Bachelor of Science degree from Kings College London before graduating in medicine from the University of Liverpool. Dr Nimako also holds a Masters of Science degree in Critical Care Medicine. His specialist respiratory training was in London and Surrey. He has had comprehensive specialist training in all aspects of respiratory medicine.
He spent three years conducting research into lung cancer at the world famous Royal Marsden Hospital and the Institute of Cancer Research, one of the world’s leading cancer research organisations. He was awarded the degree of Doctor of Medicine in Research from the University of London in 2013. Dr Nimako had specialist training in difficult asthma and chronic cough at the Royal Brompton Hospital.
Dr Nimako was appointed a Consultant Respiratory Physician at Surrey and Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust in 2013.
