Dr Sunita Gossain is a Consultant Dermatologist at North Downs Hospital who specialises in gynaecological dermatology.
Vulval dermatoses (conditions of the vulva such as lichen sclerosis)
Medical dermatology (psoriasis, eczema and hidradenitis suppurative) and skin cancer.
She operates on patients with skin tumours (benign and malignant) and any lumps and bumps. She treats patients with acne, any rash and other common skin conditions affecting any area of the body.
Dr Gossain also teaches and supervises junior doctors in clinics as an educational supervisor and is also a Medical School interviewer.
She completed her medical school training at Guy’s and St Thomas‘ London University and her dermatology training on the London and Kent/Surrey/Sussex rotation including the prestigious St John’s Institute of Dermatology at Guys and St Thomas’ Hospitals.
She has furthered her training in dermatology in the sub-specialities of medical dermatology and psoriasis clinics at St John’s Institute of Dermatology.
She has presented widely at national and international dermatology meetings and has a number of published articles.
